From an older gen here, thus am biased and prefer action without benefit of computer enhancement. Thus, favor just Bullitt and The French Connection as among greatest action scenes in cinema.
Yeah! Thank you for finally publishing this. I object to a couple of these and it's a little disappointing that no Star Wars scenes made it, but overall, this is a good list. (I bet that I was the only person to vote for the Battle of Endor, my #1 pick, wasn't I? 😢) Even though I didn't vote for them, I am particularly delighted to see the chariot race, Ripley vs. the queen, and Die Hard's final confrontation. The audacity of them putting a joke right in the middle of Hans Gruber's... uh... descent ("Oh, I hope that's not a hostage." 😆)

Out of curiosity, did anyone vote for the South Korean film Old Boy? I keep hearing folks talk about a particular fight from the film as something that is shown in film school.
