The final scene, where Stanley Tucci makes eggs and lovingly sets a plate for his brother. They make up over a simple meal in complete silence. Beautiful!
So, you only picked 4 movies for the horror series?
This is an unexpected topic for a film series. I'm not a connoisseur (hee hee) for this type of movie, so I'm wondering what you have selected. The first one that I thought of (besides Babette's Feast, which you have obviously already done) was Ratatouille, and that was confirmed by your remark about 3D animation. Truth be told, this isn't a subject I'm all that interested in. I'm not a foodie and I am barely competent at cooking. However, it is important because Our Lord gave us the Most Holy Eucharist during a meal. I will be looking forward to what you have chosen.
I look forward to the review of The Menu😉
My favorite food movie is "The Big Night"

Oh, my! A few immediately come to mind:
France- "Délicieux," "The Taste of Things," Germany- "Mostly Martha"
Am sure a few more will turn up later from my memory bank...
