Hi- I just skimmed your article. You should check out Raymond Arroyo’s latest interview with an exorcist(fr Dan rehill) - they discuss Kpop demon Hunter. Peace.
Neither Arroyo nor Fr. Rehill (both of whom I respect greatly) seem to have actually seen the movie. The critique they make of it is not accurate to what actually happens in the movie. No demons are redeemed, the demon that seems like a friend completely betrays the heroes. I appreciate your concern, but for far too long Catholics have waded in to condemn cultural expressions without understanding them, which is something that we are trying to avoid on this website (unless it is explicitly Satanic or pornographic).
Yes you are correct in that they mainly point out possible errors in catéchèses with regards to popularizing demons among children who see the movie without a discussion with an informed adult such as yourself. Perhaps you could share your article with them? ~peace & have a great week☘️!
