Inspiring piece! This film has been on my radar for a while, and after reading this article, I will definitely be seeing it in the future. I've already seen another film by Costa-Gavras, 1982's "Missing," starring Jack Lemmon and Sissy Spacek, which is also worth watching. Though similarly left-leaning, the film is ethically sound in its treatment of human rights and government corruption, and it features a mature understanding of the generation gap that neither villainizes nor ridicules the conservative values of the Greatest Generation.
